Privacy notice

How your details are handled when you ask for my CV through this site.

Status: draft for professional legal review. This notice describes how the request form is designed to work. It is not a statement that any legal requirement has been checked or met, and it will be reviewed before the form starts collecting real requests.

Who is responsible

This is the personal portfolio of Eli Saad. I receive your request myself and decide how to answer it.

To ask a question about this notice or about your details, message me on LinkedIn. Message me on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab)

What the form collects

When you send a request, the form collects:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company or organisation (optional)
  • The role you are hiring for (optional)
  • Your message (optional)
  • The language you would like me to reply in
  • Your confirmation that you agree to this handling
  • The language of the page, which button opened the form, the time it was received, and a random request reference

The form does not collect a phone number, does not accept files, and does not use cookies or analytics. Your details are not used for advertising or profiling, and they do not subscribe you to anything.

Why

To read your request and, if I decide to, send you my CV personally. Nothing else.

Who handles your details

Your details pass through the following services. Each runs under its own terms.

Email delivery: Resend
Carries your request to my mailbox. It handles the content of your message and keeps its own delivery records.
Abuse protection: Arcjet
Receives the network address and standard browser details of your connection (such as the browser's identification string and language), plus one-way scrambled identifiers derived from your email address and from the form's token, to detect automated traffic and limit abuse. It does not receive your name, your message, your readable email address or cookies.
Hosting: Vercel
Runs this site and the form. Like any host, it handles standard connection data such as network addresses. The form's own logs record only an outcome code, a request reference, the button that opened the form and the page language.
My mailbox
Where I read your request and write to you.

Processing outside Israel

Resend, Arcjet and Vercel are companies outside Israel and may process data in other countries, including the United States. The form sends them only what is needed to deliver your request and limit abuse. Where they store data and for how long is set by their own terms, not by this site.

How long data is kept

Different places keep data for different times. These are the five places, kept separate on purpose.

This site
It does not store your request in a database or a file. The server handles it in memory while it sends it on.
Abuse-protection provider
Kept for the period set by the abuse-protection provider. This site does not control it, and the period has not been confirmed yet.
Email delivery provider
Kept for the period set by the provider. This site does not control it.
My mailbox
Proposed practice, not a guarantee: I intend to delete a request about 90 days after I have finished with it. I may keep it longer while we are in an ongoing conversation.
Operational logs
They contain no name, email address, message or network address. They are kept for the period set by the hosting provider's log settings.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Message me on LinkedIn, or reply to my email if I have already written to you. Records held by the services above may depend on their own processes.

Version

Draft of 21 October 2026.
